I love to start my day with a devotion. It is my go to start for a peaceful day.
It's always been my second nature to run to God during bad times , but I have always struggled with giving him the same attention during the good times! I always pray, but I pray the hardest when I am struggling. My goal is too give him the same amount of time when things are good as I do when things are bad, and to fully trust his perfect plan for my life.
It's amazing the peace that you can receive just by handing things over and having faith.
God never promised us a Life that was easy, but he did promise to never leave our side. I often remind myself when something is bad, that it won't last forever. I have started trying to look for the lessons he is trying to teach me. Maybe he gives us the bad so we will appreciate the good days even more.
We all want happiness and some of us spend so much time searching for it that we do not realize it's right in front of us. We sometimes forget the best things in life are FREE. Friendship, loyalty, laughter, love and God's faithful promise to forgive us, protect us and love us no matter what.
