DIY Furniture repair cheap easy automotive bondo body filler

First you need to clean the damaged area with warm water and vinegar. Allow the area to dry.

Next mix the bondo with the cream hardener until the mix is pink. You will have a small amount of time to work with this mix before it starts to dry.

Apply the mixture to the area with a puddy knife. I use two. As you work with the mixture it will begin to thicken. Make sure you cover the entire area.

If you are a beginner, do not be concerned with how smooth the mixture is. Try to shape this out but be sure to cover everything.

Allow to dry for 20-30 minutes.

Sand the area with 80 grit sand paper. I use an orbital sander because it saves A LOT of time, but if you do not have a sander, you can use a 60/80 grit sponge sander or regular sand paper. sand until the bondo is smooth and level with the surface of your piece.

Wipe down the area with a tack cloth to remove any dust.

Prime and Paint!!!

This is the end results!!!!
